Rick Murray: "I Got Into Dentistry Almost By Accident"

Rick has an extremely varied professional background, and he got into dentistry almost by accident. Rick began his professional career as a news photographer. After owning an advertising agency and production company, Rick was ready to do something else. Never one to close the door of opportunity Rick has held jobs ranging from a Television News Reporter to General Manager of the New Mexico State Fair. After leaving the State Fair it was his semi-annual visit to his dentist that sealed Rick’s fate in dentistry. It so happened that his dentist was a Board Member of the New Mexico Dental Association and the rest, as they say, is history.
